Acoustic Guitar Jam – A Land Most High – For Hive Open Mic Week 112

Greetings!!!

Welcome to week 112. This week I decided, based on the theme, to play an acoustic instrumental piece with my mind thinking on my local landscape. My homestead is in the Upper Rio Grande valley, which includes the San Luis valley to the North of me. On the East is the Sangre De Cristo Mountains and on my West is the Lower part of the San Juan Mountains and the Continental Divide. I sit at 7500 feet above sea level, and the Mountains around me rise from anywhere between 9 and 14 thousand feet. In other words, I live way up above a good portion of the world’s population. So, I named this piece A Land Most High. Besides, a good portion of the population here smoke weed, so it takes on a double meaning 🙃Enjoy🖤
